Why Telegram views matter
A Telegram channel shows its posts in order, with a view count under each one. Readers see that number before they open a post, and advertisers look at it before they pay for a slot in your channel.
Busy looks good, empty gets skipped

How Telegram counts
What counts as a Telegram view
Telegram's view counter follows a few rules, and they explain most of the odd numbers channel owners notice.
One account, one view
Telegram counts each account once per post, so reopening a post does not raise its count.
Forwards count too
Readers who see a post in a forward or through a shared link add to the same count.
A count, never names
Channels show how many viewed a post, not who. Nobody can see which views were ordered.
Public posts only
Views need a public channel link like t.me/yourchannel/1841. You don't share a password or make anyone an admin.
Views per subscriber
Are your Telegram views low? Compare with channels your size
Divide a post's average views by your subscriber count. That share falls as channels grow, so a 40,000-subscriber channel shouldn't measure itself against a 2,000-subscriber one. Across 3.2M public channels, the median runs from 31.4% for small channels down to 3.3% above half a million subscribers.
Worked example
A channel with 48,210 subscribers averaging 2,900 views a post sits at 6%, against a 9.1% median for its size. Reaching the median takes about 1,490 more views per post, $0.15 a post at $0.099 per 1K.
Why can a channel have more views than subscribers? The counter includes readers who reach a post through a forward or a web preview, so a post that travels can pass 100%.

How much does Telegram pay per 1,000 views?
Telegram does not pay per view. Owners of public channels with at least 1,000 subscribers get 50% of the revenue from Telegram Ads shown in their channel, paid in Toncoin. Advertisers bid per 1,000 impressions, with a minimum of 0.1 TON, so what a channel earns depends on the ads served, not on a fixed rate.
How many subscribers do I need to earn from Telegram?

How are Telegram post views counted?
