Explore ServicesHow the analyzer works
The analyzer reads a channel's public preview pages on t.me, the same pages anyone can open in a browser without logging in, and extracts subscriber count, recent post views, posting frequency, and content mix. No Telegram API key, no login, and no access to private data: private channels cannot be analyzed.
Engagement rate is average post views divided by subscribers. The quality score out of 100 weighs four components: audience size, engagement rate against benchmarks for the channel's size class, posting activity, and content variety. Channels with large subscriber counts but very low views relative to size trigger inflated-audience warnings, the typical signature of bought low-quality members.
Scores are a snapshot of public signals, not an audit of private analytics. Use compare mode to benchmark up to 5 channels side by side, for example your channel against competitors in your niche.
Frequently asked questions
How does the Telegram channel analyzer work without an API key?
It reads the public channel preview that Telegram serves at t.me for every public channel, the same content you see in a browser without logging in. Private channels cannot be analyzed.
What is a good engagement rate for a Telegram channel?
Small channels often see 30-100% views-to-subscribers, while large channels typically land between 10-30%. A large channel under roughly 5% usually signals an inactive or inflated audience.
What does the quality score mean?
It is a 0-100 composite of audience size, engagement against size-class benchmarks, posting activity, and content variety. 70 and above is strong; below 40 usually means inactivity or audience quality problems.
Can I analyze private channels?
No. Only public channels with a t.me username expose preview data. Nothing about your account is used or required.
