How this calculator works
Telegram Stars are the in-app currency users spend on paid posts, paid media, bot services, and gifts. Creators earn Stars and withdraw them through Fragment, Telegram's official partner, which pays out in TON at a fixed USD rate that has held around $0.013 per Star.
The calculator converts a Star balance to USD at the payout rate (editable, in case Telegram moves it) and models a channel selling paid posts: price per unlock, buyers per post, and posts per month multiply into a monthly Star income and its USD value.
Two withdrawal rules matter for planning: Fragment requires at least 1,000 Stars per withdrawal, and each Star becomes withdrawable 21 days after you receive it. What users pay to buy Stars (especially through Apple and Google, which add store fees) is higher than the payout value; this tool models what you receive, not what buyers spend.
