Instagram Caption Formatter
Keep your caption line breaks when posting: blank lines get an invisible character and trailing spaces are trimmed, so spacing survives Instagram.
Paste your caption
Write the caption exactly as you want it spaced. The formatter fills blank lines with an invisible character and trims trailing spaces, the two things that make Instagram collapse line breaks.
Everything happens in your browser. Your caption is never uploaded or stored.

Explore ServicesWhy Instagram eats your line breaks, and what this tool does
Instagram collapses caption whitespace in two specific cases: a completely empty line is removed, and a line break is dropped when the line before it ends with a space or other trailing whitespace. Both behaviors are long-standing and affect captions written in other apps and pasted in.
The fix creators use is to make blank lines non-empty with a character that renders as nothing. This tool fills each blank line with U+2800 (a braille blank character that displays as empty space but counts as content) and trims trailing whitespace from every line. Those are the only two changes it makes; your words are untouched.
The result pastes cleanly into Instagram, and the same trick works in bios and comments. It also works on other platforms that collapse whitespace, though Instagram is the one that made it necessary.
Everything runs in your browser. The caption is never uploaded, and the character counter uses Instagram's documented 2,200-character caption limit so you can see overflow before you post.
