How the average views rate is calculated
Your average views rate is the mean of your recent post view counts divided by your follower (or subscriber) count, shown as a percentage. Paste a handful of recent view numbers and the calculator averages them, then compares that average to your audience size.
The metric answers a simple question: of the people who follow you, what share does a typical post actually reach? It is most useful for short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts), where reach routinely runs well above or below your follower count depending on how the algorithm distributes each post.
The bands (low, typical, good, excellent) are interpretation aids, not platform figures. A viral post can push the rate past 100% because it reaches people who do not follow you; a quiet week can drop it into single digits. Judge the trend across many posts rather than any single number.
